We raise questions about professors and facilities that are too poor for the number of students overflowing. We raise questions about the discontinuity and interdependence of the curriculum and the gap in education that arises from it. We raise questions about design education that we learn from our heads rather than our bodies. We raise questions about how design education has long relied on logic for logic rather than intuition. The Independent study room is a voluntary experiment to fill the gap in existing institutional education and to fill it by oursleves. The Independent study room is a working group for steady and sincere design work. It is a major activity to organize workshops and collaborate periodically with students in other university to talk about their work.
