I lived in United States for 1 year. During my time there, I intern on weekdays and spend my weekends travelling to Seattle, San Francisco and Las Vegas to work on my graduation exhibition. I wanted to express the unique characteristics of these states through my own experience and intepretation. I tried to include various contents such as famous architecture, food, nature and transportation into my illustrations, which consisted of a collage of drawings and photographs. This personal project was very meaningful to me as it allowed me to gain new experiences and grow as a person. Through this overseas internship opportunity, I am once again looking forward to gain new experiences and step out of my comfort zone.
